You can now post videos, comment, like, and of course subscribe to the channel to help Hollow World show even more people what an awesome place it is! It's also a great way to see what your fellow Worlders are getting up to with the videos posted there.
Want to put your video on the channel?
Great! It's easy as pie. Simply PM me with your video attached (or if that's not possible, a description of the video content). If you have a youtube, I will make you a temporary manager of the channel so that you may upload your video. If you don't, don't worry! There's another way to do it
Once your channel is uploaded you will be given the appropriate credit in the description, as well as a link to your individual channel if you wish.Featured Channels.
If you want your name to be on the Hollow World channel in more places than just the channel description, then you can become one of our featured channels! The requirement for this is: Upload videos with us!
Want to troll/upload inappropriate content?
Go ahead! I check the channel regularly and if anything's out of place I can track it exactly to whatever caused it. The offence will then be reported to the staff, and the video/comment/activity will be removed, with possible punishment. Trolls be warned!
Friendly video requirements (may be added to)-
- This channel has been created with the assumption that it will be for several things;
- Gaming commentaries of server activities.
- Notable roleplays (historic Alteran events, for example).
- Server trailers, as well as advertising certain plugins (@dUMMY).
- Story Time - Tales related to the server's lore(@Faelin).
- Art! This can be a collage of pictures, or even better, a video of the creation of art related to Hollow World and Altera.
- Music! This can be music that you listen to while RPing, or music you have created for Altera, or in-character ballads and songs you have written!
- This channel has been created with the assumption that it will be for several things;
- Keep it relatively PG-13 (subject to change). Swear words can be used sparingly but absolutely no explicit sexual content, and try to keep description or depiction of gore to "The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey" level.
- The best kind of video is one that is professionally made, over a minute long but under thirty (we can create two or more parts depending on the length), with decent quality. It's my understanding that when uploading a video to youtube, internet connection is in positive correlation with final video quality.
- As a temporary channel manager, you may not edit other peoples' work on the channel. The one thing you are there for is to upload your video from your computer.
We want to encourage as many player videos as possible! If you've ever wanted to create a youtube video, now is the time! I will of course be available to help with video making if you need it. Go get filming!
