Firegirl
Lord of Altera
I sit upon these bones and wonder:
Why hasn't anybody come and saved me?
The only two people that mattered most, gone.
My hope dwindling with it.
That spark, no more, only waiting for the Mad God's Gift.
No fire in my eyes, to be engulfed by Jisrim.
Given up, my childhood.
Days, I spent thinking back,
thinking to what I had.
Though, flawed, perfect.
In some way, I'm glad to have moved on.
No more of the moonlight beach talks, giggling,
with his pale, pale white skin. Dark hair, and glittering eyes.
No more, my laugh likes bubbles, floating up to the roof of the
Inn. My smile, shining like a star.
And no more, holding his hand, as the teacher lead's the student.
No more.
In some ways, I've missed it.
But it's come back.
His spark, now back in his eyes.
His knife glitters, like early morning dew.
My breath, frozen. My lungs, sucking up air. My heart, still.
Fear.
No more.
