Possibly make a different voting method? I honestly don't think it needs to be anonymous, but if it does... Just do a forum vote? Set it to multiple votes, ask what people want, and make it anonymous.

Voting system on the forum unfortunately doesn't allow people to rank their choices - can either set it to allow for multiple choice (but no ranking, so it'd be 'I'm ok with a b c, I'm not ok with x y z), or we'd have to do lots of threads with single choice only going 'this thread is for your first choice', 'this thread is for you second choice' in order to get a ranking.

I know we can't pick everyone's first choice but at least with ranking we can try get something that meets the general consensus.

Not sure if you're saying it is shit, or anonymous votes don't matter because there aren't negative options?

Not too fussed about being anonymous, it's more a case of not being able to rank options easily with the server voting compared to using survey sites.

Ah sweet. Yeah, it's not a big deal it's just I think most of those survey sites are generally geared towards anonymity.

As Radish said, I'll be making a new and better survey today. Essentially it will include a second question where you will fill in your name to avoid double+ voting. I'll also be including the option of 'don't change current spawn'. AND I'll be telling people in large bold print that 1 is their top, most desired option and 9, their least desired.

As for anonymity, it was important, at least to me, that most people don't know who is voting for what. It tends to make people more honest with their voting and it prevents backlash against that person by people who vote and think differently.

I admit I'm curious if that data has a clear consensus/will have a clear consensus, even if it's redone to remedy the outliers of misvoting.

I'm fine with public or private as I don't think what to do with spawn is a community dividing issue. I mean we have different opinions but I can't see anyone going off on someone for wanting spawn to stay the sme or change drastically. I voted correctly and whether we go public or private I would like to see the data at the end for each option just out of curiosity if you don't mind.

Right now, without giving anything away, there is a first place, but it's not by much. It's a fairly even spread.

I'd love to spread RP out and decrease the amount of people in the X-Roads. Possible randomize the spawn to any random dock master from any approved city.

We eliminated PS for that, which is why we have towns with 5 active people at best and an unsatisfying spawn.
