Are there any denser spruce forests in the North-ish regions?

While not as thick as most people are used to, most of the forests on this map are a little thicker than it looks simply because we're going for an artistic aesthetic. I mean, a picture with only green leaves and logs in it wouldn't look very good.

But the main reason for the lack of density is the fact that these are all custom trees, and as you can see, they're a bit 'curved'.

Also, as per Read, we're probably also going to be adding in some more trees ourselves.

What I'm loving about this map is that it feels more like a living environment. It looks like real terrain more than just a minecraft map. It's really blowing me away.

Don't think that'll happen, otherwise it would stack into infinty and I doubt that mc is that terribly coded

They'd just stop stacking when it's a full block.

I thought they stop stackking once one layer of snow was present. I've never had any full snow blocks in vanilla mc

Yeah, I've got no clue how it interacts with half-filled though. It wouldn't go to infinity though because as you said it stops at one layer normally.

We also have worldguard that prevents the build up of snow unless you turn it on manually in your region. So no worries about those beautiful snowy slopes turning into a blocky mess... unless you do it yourself.
