Part 6: A mermaid with legs
Bewpy got to the desolate mountain. Right in time for a harsh blizzard to arrive. She was freezing, the moisture from her skin frosting over. She would freeze to death out here, but the pain made her feel alive after the numbness she had felt of her sister's betrayal. She kept skidding on the ice, and flopping in the snow. Her tail was such a nuisance to her now, it would be the death of her out here. Her skimpy shell bra didn't help either. Why she was going to the mountain was beyond her, all sensible reasoning gone. She was now a mad woman, clawing her way through the snow. Her insanity and hatred of mortals had finally reached it's peaking point. She was above all those filthy mortals. How dare they look down upon her while she swam in the water? Then it struck her. She would craft a new body. She would break free of this water-built body and create one out of the very cold that was killing her. She would challenge the gods themselves. Her command was absolute, her will unbreakable, and her heart was as desolate as this frost-bitten wasteland.
With a crazy and maniacal laugh, she proceeded with the ancient and forbidden magic. With light escaping her fingertips and the snow swirling around her, she created large hands made of a hazy light. But then something blasted away her magic, and an old man's face appeared before her, wrinkled with wisdom.
"You judge others on their legs, so now you will have legs and walk like they."
Bewpy felt like her tail was being ripped apart, and passed out in the cold snow.
