Markus Smith grew up in a grand, bustling city - full of many citizens and merchants. He grew up with his mother and older sister, his father dying of a growing illness shortly after he was born. His family was rather religious, often praying and visiting the city church.
He would participate in the praying and visits to the church as well, thus granting him a calm and peaceful nature. When he reached the age of twenty one, his mother passed away as well and his sister left the city to live her own life. Approaching the church, a Priest greeted him at the entrance.
The Priest introduced himself as Jonathon Sanktum. Jonathon chatted with Markus for a time, discussing God, Markus' opinions on violence, his public speaking abilities, etc. Jonathon was rather impressed with Markus' responses, and thus, offered him a job at the church, as an ''apprentice'' of sorts.
Markus gladly accepted, and eagerly began his training. Jonathon was very specific in his teachings, and Markus was intent on learning. After several years of Markus receiving training, Jonathon proudly presented him with the title of a Priest himself.
From that day on, Markus performed many tasks, such as baptism, marriage ceremonies and leading church services. He continued to pray - for his lost family, the well being of others, peace, etc.
At the age of twenty eight, Markus recruited his own apprentice by the name of Roran Oaks. He taught Roran all the things Jonathon taught him and more.
When Markus was thirty one, he presented the title of Priest to Roran. He wished him good luck and a safe life. He was aware of many places that were in need of a Priest, and perhaps a church - or even just religious teachings. With this, he packed his supplies and set off to new lands, to put his knowledge to good use.
(I have never really played a calm character who avoids violence and attempts to talk others out of it, so this will hopefully be fun to experience!)
7. Please introduce yourself to the community; explaining who you are, what your interests and/or hobbies are and why you would like to be a part of our community in around 8 sentences or more. You do not have to disclose any personal information if you don't want to, but we'd just like to know what kind of person you are.
Hello, everyone! My name in real life is Mitch. I enjoy roleplaying, gaming, basketball & football, listening to music, talking to my friends both IRL & online, etc. My favourite games are Minecraft, CoD, the Fallout series, Battlefield games and Dead Island. I like to think I have a sense of humour, but it's up to other's to decide, right? I am usually calm and laidback, however I have a serious side, most commonly used during roleplay. I'm also from Canada, eh? I would like to be part of this community because I really enjoy roleplaying on Minecraft. As well, this server seems very promising and I'm sure it will prove to be a very fun experience for me. The players and staff alike seem like generally cool people, and I think it would be great to give the server a shot!
