Some of you might have already noticed this (in your wallet), but we have implemented a tax system in our HollowNobility plugin. Your House can now tax you and take your precious Radiants to put it to better use.
A percentage or a fixed amount of Radiants of the House members money can be taxed and sent to the House account every day or couple of days. House members will always keep 1000 Radiants as pocket money. No taxes will be taken from the pocket money.

Commands
/noble house settax 100r - Set tax to 100 radiants
/noble house settax 10% - Set tax to 10% of players total radiants
/noble house settaxfreq 1 - Set tax interval to 1 day

House owners will see this:

House members will see this:

To protect you from extremely greedy House Lords we have implemented some safety measures:
  • It cannot tax you more than once per day
  • The maximum tax percentage is set to 10%
  • The maximum hard rate is set to 1000
  • It will only tax you if the money subtracted would not put you under 1000.

Everybody say thank you to Barry. Thanks to him we can pay our taxes now! Who does'nt want to pay taxes?! ;)

Kinda unfair to just announce this and leave house owners the power to take ridiculous amounts of their member's money without warning or recourse.

We always had taxes with the Towny Plugin. It just was not implemented in the HollowNobility plugin yet.

Back in the dark ages, you'd find yourself facing a tax collector and a group of soldiers... surprise!
If he takes ridiculous amounts of money from you on purpose, you know you want to find yourself another House anyway... ;)
If you are taxed an insane amount, just screenshot it and ask the House Lord if it was intentional. If not, he will probably refund you...
The max percentage is set at 10% by the way.

And If you have a huge amount of Money (50k+) you can ask him to put the money in the house money account to keep it safe. I did It also with 100k.

Or just invest it in something that isn't taxable. I'd suggest diamonds but their price keeps on dropping :)

I think most houses will be sensible and only tax a small amount. I think Lonmar is taxing at 100r every 3 days to begin with and will switch to a small percentage (2.5% I think). If anyone's house is taxing more than that then they should consider joining Lonmar instead ;)

I think it is 100r per day, about 7.5% of your max voting money per day....

Yes, you're right. It's 100r a day.

It's possible to check a house's tax rate by doing /noble house info [housename] (I don't know about what permissions you need for it)

You can get up to 1000 rads each day just for voting alone, I really should be no problem for most people. Just take 2 minutes out of your forum stalking or game playing time to vote twice for the server and its easy money. :)

Edit:

Just for you lazy people :p

Vote 1 = 500 Radiants

Vote 2 = 500 Radiants

You can get 1500 if you time it right :D the limit on the minecraftservers.org is 12 hours, so if you vote everyday at 7 in the morning, you can vote there again at 7pm.

I think that minecraftservers.org, has a limit of 24 hours, it just counts the hours you have missed:
ie: the first time you vote 24h
the second time you vote, if you voted 26 hours after the first time, then you get a -2 hours counted (so it sets the limit to 22)
