Player Commands

SallyPirate

Lord of Altera
Updated: 5/6/13

Channels:
/ch ooc
Channel for Out Of Character conversations, please keep this channel quiet on busy days.

/ch rp
Roleplay channel, you can be heard by other players 50 blocks all around you.

/ch w
/ch whisper

/ch h or /ch house
House chat, can't be used unless you're in a house.

/ch [words]
Players can create their own channels and invite others to join by /msg or @. Sometimes we have a /ch radio channel when it's being hosted.

/ch leave [channel]
/leave ooc
Leave the channel so you no longer receive messages from it. It's best to use /ch leave ooc when you're in a serious RP and want to focus. Try not to /ch leave rp unless you don't want to hear anyone speaking around you. I did it once and forgot to join back in for ages...

Private messaging:

@playername [message]

/lockpm (after using @playername [message] first)
Will lock your messages, so it's like having the @ as a channel. That's the best I can describe it. Use /lockpm again to change back to normal chat.

With the @ messaging, after sending the first message you don't need to add the players name, it will continue to send to the first one speaking until you type a different playername in. Be careful if you're talking to more than one person this way. It could get confusing.

You can use only 3 letters of someone's name for the message to send, just watch out for similar names!
Example:
@The Oi, marry me :I
@Sally Okay! :D!
@ oops wrong person..

These Commands have been removed from private messaging:
/msg [playername] [message]
/tell [playername] [message]

/title list [number]
/title use [number] or /title use [title]

/resetnick

Sethome:
Use /sethome to set a home and /home to return. You can set a home in every map.

MyChunk:
You can claim a chunk (16x16 blocks, from sky to bedrock) in the Sorrowlands.
Place a sign and write [Claim]
You can then place the sign again and use

[Allow]
Playername

[Disallow]
Playername

[Unclaim]

[Owner]
To show the current owner and permissions set.

Flags for [Owner] [Allow] and [Disallow] are here: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/mychunk/pages/flags

/wa password [password]

/wa password thisisasecret

This will change/create your password, go to http://minecraft.hollowworld.co.uk/auction/index.php
Put your Minecraft username and the password you just entered in game.

Lockette:
Hold a sign and right click a chest, the sign will be placed with your name on it.
You can also place the sign in front of the chest/door/furnace/dispenser and put [Private] on the first line, your name on the second and any friends names on the third and fourth. Doors can have timers as well.

Example:
[Private]
JasonK94

Ok Sally, I can send a message via /msg [playername] [message] and /tell [playername] [message] but I can't use @[playername] [message]. How strange.
