[ Rumours speak of a lonesome figure dwelling the teal forests of the Nightstar within the Underworld. ]
Breathing life in screams and shuddering windows of respite, as though waged into two with a soul
touched by two higher beings. In light of this besieged soul, an opportunity wails it's way onto your ear.
Whether looking for one of the few able to passage a contract to the nightstar, or collect upon
masterful artisanship or something else entirely, the chance is ripe.

[This character is mostly shelved, but I still like to roleplay them, from time to time. If anyone

Whispers traverse the midlands like wildfire: a billowing plume of fire and smoke has been witnessed to the south of the Red Forest. Dogwood trees, typically steadfast, now stand ablaze. The once lush expanses of lumber-rich groves dwindle; normally abundant patches now somewhat scarcer in the region.

Rumors of reports filter in of grim discoveries – a lumber camp harboring multiple lifeless bodies. A prominent dwarvish lumber foreman, esteemed in his role, has met a violent end to an axe in the head. A crier, heralding the words of a concerned local baron, announces a call to arms for investigation warrants and the apprehension of those responsible for this brazen act. Supposedly, one was caught heading south, clutching an axe in his hand.

Survivors of a nearby lumber camp raid claim a group of three elves are responsible. Others mix whispers of small, luminous creatures, playing a part in the ordeal.

[!] A lumberman in the Landing tavern offhandedly grumbles about an experience he had over a cup of rum. A forest spirit seems to be scaring away anyone approaching the southern dogwood with axes. He mumbles about attempting to head in again, better prepared. Surely. After one more drink...

A Totem errects itself within the burnt forests south of the Dogwoods. Carvings of a Bear, an Owl, a Deer and a Wolf atop.
They warn of those trespassing within the forests, those rendering nature to oblivion, to stray far and don't come near.
The rest may take and return to nature as they feel fit.
Wrath will find those that harm the Fey Forests.


The forest itself is not completely what it used to be. The trees appear more mossy, with leaves of blue-green tints and dark wood. Pink and purple buds grow upon their branches, in memory of the Fey. Tiny white flowers that look like dandelions will glow softly on the ground, with an unatural cold candlelight. All of this is contained in a small location: [-717 130 -6857]
