- Bolvar became a Page at the age of 8, at a non-disclosed location
- After serving as a page for 6 years Bolvar returned home where he became his father's squire
- After just two years Bolvar was knighted as a knight of house August
- Inherited his Father's title and lands after his death, as well as his title as Grandmaster and leader of house August's army.
- Named Archduke during the fusion of Houses Hawklight and August
- Became ruler of Winterguard
- Became Grandmaster of the Hieraxian High Chuch and Order of the Dragon

Bolvar Lead the War efforts against the corruption within Hierax and is still continuing to do so. After the Summoning of Shalherana in Heaven's Reach a new Cathedral in Winterguard was commissioned by him.
During the Battle against Harateth Bolvar was one of the people having put their blessed axes into Harateth's flesh.

Bolvar was the commander of the Hieraxian forces during the Undead's attempt to invade Heaven's reach.
Although one of Heaven's Reach's main gates was lost due to insubordination, the defenders under his leadership were still victorious.
When the King decided to evacuate the Kingdom to the new world, Bolvar stayed back with a handful of his Knights to defend and evacuate the part of the Kingdom's population that couldn't evacuate with the main fleet.
Although not much is known about what has transpired between the time of the Exodus and the arrival of Bolvar's fleet in the new lands of Hierax, one could clearly see that both time and battle against the undead have left their scar's on the Grandmaster.
