The farmers of Storm's Landing have begun preparations for a small festival to celebrate the winter.
Traders who are interested in setting up a stall of their own are welcome to do so, simply claim one for yourself!

DATE || Friday December 8th
TIME || Starting at 3pm PST, 6pm EST and runs for the remainder of the day. You are free to attend early for the GMT folk!
LOCATION || The Festival Grounds, at the southern exit
RATING || Moderate


AVAILABLE STALLS
If you would like to set up a stall post below with your IG name (and wares). You may set up chest shops or shopkeepers. No need to actively attend the vendor.
Vendors will receive a small token of the Farmer's appreciation or setting up their stalls.

A stall that will be selling Hollowcrafting weapons. 3 Refined steel small sowrds, 3 refined steel medium swords. 1 Glimmersteel short weapon, 1 Bloodied silver small sword and one Starblood Large sword. Some of the weapons will have some of Korog's magic. Those who are curious of the weapons be sure to visit the event and ask questions.

[!] At the end of the Festivities, those that set up a stall will earn a Thank-You Gift.

- APPLE BOBBING -
A large barrel awaits with red apples, roll a d20 to see if you manage to bite into one. You may eat the apple you win.
[This will be available all night.]
Roll of 1 or 2 - You lose your balance and end up half falling in or dunking your head.
Roll of 3 to 10 - You fail miserably, really, not even getting a grip.
Roll of 11 to 16 - You almost had it. Almost.
Roll of 17 to 20 - Congratulations, you now have a special sweet apple.

(One must do a /roll mind resilience endurance
or
/roll body unarmed grappling)

- CRACKER BARREL -
Barrels and Barrels will be lined up in an area of the Festival Grounds. Some Barrels are foul while others are special.
Volunteers must take up an axe, of their own or one offered, and choose one Barrel among the many.
They must not touch it to see its weight. If they break the Barrel with their axe or a chosen tool, after three attempts, they may keep whatever was hidden inside.
If they fail- they must pay again to try.

(One must do a /roll body athletics might - for strength)

- A DANCE OF DRINK & WINE-
For the end of the Festivities, there'll be a dance upon the ice stage!
Those that can dance the longest without falling will win a prize.

Number of atteendees will depend on those partaking in the moment.

Hello! After seeing the votes, we will be having the following:

+A Fistfighting ring for a max number of 6 attendees

Testing ones unarmed combat, the attendees will hash it out within the ring to find the ultimate Winterfeast winner! (Make sure your stats are setup)​

+A Barrel Cracking section: 200r to Enter

Attendees may try this one at a time. A fenced location has various barrels around. Using one's strength, they must choose and crack a barrel. If they're successful, they get to collect everything that was within it.​

+Anonymous Gift Exchange with no limit of attendants

Those taking part in the Gift Exchange must send word ahead of time. They may send the host (solusrequiem) their gift before the event takes place. They'll be placed within giftboxes around the Giving Tree and each attendant will then be called to pick up their new exchanged gift from the boxes there.​

Snowfall gently drifts across the Landing, never lasting too long in the warm climate. Though, light mounds begin to cluster near the festive grounds.
Occassionally walking, one can hear a little jingle. A little chime.

Those partaking in it will win a prize, and a gift of thanks will be given to those setting up stalls by the Farmhands)

This is soon, but folk can sprinkle in now and then to start attending the games. The Raffle won't be announced until before or after the dance, depending on how things are paced by the attendees! No gifts were submitted to be exchanged, so we won't be hosting that portion..

Madam Bella has come down from the Northern Tundra to sell some wares her village has collected this past Harvest. It seems some unique stock and shards have arrived!
She says her village seems blessed by Charity this year and wishes to share it with the town.
Find your way over to the Festival Grounds for a limited time to purchase them.
Those who attended the Winterfeast may trade their shard tokens for them as well.

Description: A dark-green clump of leaf
Effect: The clump can be formed and threaded into bolts of Mistle Leaf, a velvet green texture of fabric. When peered at in close proximity or under light, one can see faint patterns of leaves and mistletoe shifting in beautiful sequences upon the fabric.

Description: A piece of wood burnt to crisp coal, but as sturdy as any wood
Effect: Carrying the scent and heat of a warm fire, the charred wood stains black the flesh hands of any that hold it. It leaves no residue otherwise.

Name: Crystal Leaf Ore
Description: An amber colored metal with snowflakes in leaf shaped patterns upon it.
Effect: When forged under high intense heat, its colors carry a more pure-white color with the tint of a soft golden glow. When forged and struck against other metals, it carries a musical ring to it.

Name: Celestine Gem
Description: A marble sized crystal, the shape of a pearl.
Effect: When looked into, one can see the special etching of a unique snowflake inside the gem. If shaken, it jingles like a small bell.
