The server has not been upgraded to 1.2.5 yet, so if you value your playing time here on this server, and you are not not willing to wait for the server to be upgraded - please do not update!

Edit: According to our beloved BarryG you can update if you so desire, however, I'd still not recommend it until everything is clear.

You CAN update (if Mojang isn't failing again). The server does need an update but clients (1.2.4 and 1.2.5) can connect to the 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 servers.

No need to worry about down time!
