Fable Entropic Desire

Entropic Desire
From under the wheel of War was delirious Decay borne,
Gore and guts, flesh and bone, sinew seeking life anew.
Covetous of the living, mourning the empty shells of the dead,
Ever seeking paths to fly from Death's solemn ending.

Eternity sought by Entropy, preservation rotted with pestilence,
Leading to poor puppets and tortured souls wrenched from rest.
Ne'er did Entropy cease it's designs, for it marches ever onwards,
Ironic is His very nature, to eternally reach for such stars.

Though Entropy's own hands crafted fleshly vessels that failed,
Another Being, older and wiser held permanence in truth.

The Smith, the Artificer, He Who Wrought Mountains,
T'was this Divinity to whom Eternity could spill from.

Entropy marches ever onwards, ceasing naught for any,
And on this path He could ne'er cease his eternal tread.
His dream of undying bone and sinew forever his goal,
Changed to allow unrusting metal to house the soul.

Verily did admiration flourish like fever among the ill,
Greatly did Entropy covet this glimpse of peerless skill.
Yet from the Mountain King he did not seek to take,
The Eternity Entropy had ever longed for.

Who else could shape Time Unending as the Smith did,
Who else would so cleanly shape the world?
Who else could take the gore and gristle He was borne of
And press Entropy into a perfect Eternity?

Molded like the deepest red clay by the Smith's Hands,
Imperfections and impermanence smoothed away.
His Ending undone, the Lands ever Preserved,
Untouched by Death, bearing only the Maker's Mark.

(Upon both the front and back of this pamphlet is a depiction of a deep red clay urn with the symbol of the Allfather upon its center.)
