House Eberhall is a newly formed Noblity family made during the rule of Kaiser Peter I of Anhald. The house bloodline runs back many many years, however, the blood of the family was that of the lower class until recently, with Sir Berndt Eberhall being granted the right of new lands, and the right to bare a lastname of his own. The family got its start from Berndt who was born the oldest son of his mother, Ilse and his father, Willhelm. He had two brothers, the oldest being Angelo and the youngest brother was Hanns. He spent the majority of his days learning to care for wheat and harvest it with his family, as it was the trade his family practiced. His favorite memories of his day was hearing the stories of other villagers and the long tales of Kings of Lavoyard and later, Anhald. These long tails grew to be his favorite; Tales such of Charles the Bold, claiming him to be the size of a full grown grizzly, dawning a set of pale black armour, with the skulls of his enemies mounted upon his throne room pillars. Others told tales of King Peter, a veteran knight who had slain hundreds of men in the service of his realm, driving fear into the hearts of the enemies and honour into the the lands of Anhald.
Berndt like many boys of his village dreamed of this, yet his family had no name and no way to serve his king, aside from the sowing of fields. This changed during the Lavoyard rebellion when Willhelm was first called to service. His father later returned with stories of knights and soldiers, and the slaughter of men upon a unsuccessful ride. His father settled down upon the fields once more for many years upon the rein of King Peter, serving, and dying upon the fields as nothing more than a faceless levy. Berndt traveled far from the smoking ruins of his family's farm to the city of Haven, and joined the forces of the King's army. He served many years as a Levy before he was offered the role of squire under the leadership of Sir Alexander of the Kaiserwatche. Afterwards he served during the war of the dead, fighting at various battles such as the Motte, Azerport, and Grafjell, during the battle of Azerport, he took four bites and was later healed under the guidance of Lillium and Ater.
Upon the shores of the new world, after weeks of sailing from the ruins of Altera, Berndt was told to take a knee, and was knighted Sir Berndt of Vorsehung, promoting him to the rank of lower noblity, and now, with the grant from Kaiser Peter, the county of Eberland, and the future settlement of Die Eberbau. Over time, the lands of Eberland grew as the rest of Anhald remained mostly unmoving and almost in a state refusal to build up; During this time, Berndt provided various resources and goods to the rest of the realm and his wealth grew with it. However, when Kaltstaat moved from a Province to its own Queendom, Berndt stayed by Alison's side and was promoted to a Herzog (Duke) for his loyality.
However, with the death of Berndt Eberhall, and the lack of political control from the Lady of Eberhall, the house fell from its control, and the remaining population sworn to the House de Courtnay, Lady Fleur, and then later the Lord-Regent d'Arras. The heir, Mikolaj, fled with the remaining loyalists, and hidden away from the new Lords..

{ PHYSICAL TRAITS }
The Eberhalls of Eberland are known for the dirty blonde hair and plain, brown eyes. Most of the family have a extremely strong build, yet thin, with lightly pale skintone.
{ TRIVIA }
+ Sir Berndt Eberhall has been remembered for his heroism and fierceness during the Undead War in Altera, some claiming he took as many as 18 undead bites and even carried the Crown Prince on his shoulders, while he was wounded. He was later hospitalized in both Grafjell and in the lands of the then Duchess Lillium due to the Touch of Skraag, but later released and returned to the frontlines to fight once more.
+ Berndt took the sigil of the black boar with tusks the colour of steel, to show his fierceness and somewhat wild style of combat, as well as for the hint of the boar being a pig, and therefore a commoner's pet, because Eberhall does not wish to forget its roots, while being thankful for its new path.
The colours of Green and Gold are meant to represent the green grass of farmland and the golden wheat produced.

- House Eberhall gets its name from the lands at which it was given, 'Eber' translating to Boar in Rede.
- Unlike its southern counterparts, The Duchy of Eberland Is known for its production of Ales, Mead, and Beers, but more so for its specially dark ales, such as Bock, Dopplerbock, Dunkel, and Schwarzbier, as well as other more common brews.
- The words of the family, Furthlos und Treu, have been a phrase Berndt has carried with him for a long time, one he cannot recall the origin of, but believes it was a result of a drunken night, the words mean 'Fearless and True.'
