The game is developed and played IC by the characters. It is a, almost propaganda, game about finding and banishing heretics who want to spoil our wholesome Devine law abiding houses!
The game is mafia or werwolf adjusted to fit into Altera's lore. It is played with an odd number of players alternating between night and day and starts with day.
at night the evil Heretics gather and banish one good member of the court.
At day there is a discussion among the court and a vote as to who among them is a heretic, that person is than banished.
There are various rules from player roles to overlay on top of this simple set up, which are as follows!
Houses and Heretics
Assassin - Appears good to the ranger
Jishrim cursed - Must say the word Jishrim at least once each day
Court Spy - May silence one player from speaking during the day.
Heretic - If you are banished the evil players may banish two players the next night
King - You can not be banished during the day
Ranger - Each night can look at and learn wether a player is good or evil
Priest of the Grey lady - may protect a player from being banished every night.
Jax Blessed - Gets two votes on who to banish
Inquisitor - a good player who may May banish a player each night
Knight - You survive an extra day if you were banished, but are banished the next night
Court Jester - Wins if he is banished from a vote during the day (Shouldn't be in all games)
Sallana Preist - Select two players each night, If one is banished the other is as well
King's advisor - Once per game during the day you may invoke a second round of votes to banish someone.
