King ForumStalker
Prologue
Captain Falstern strolled up to the observation bay, ignoring the salutes and "Hey Captain!"s from the crew, apart from the occasional curt nod. He stared out into the infinite abyss of the universe, watching the stars drift past like embers in the wind, and sighed.
It had been 28 years since the war had begun, the Captain made sure to put that into perspective by saying that some of the rookies weren't even born when the war had begun, back on that day when the unknown collection of aliens had crushed the colony based on Versailles. They had attacked with ruthless, merciless and faultless violence and crushed the small amount of resistance the local forces had been able to put up. The only answers they got were the ruins of the colony and a small, encrypted message.

Since then, the human race had brought together the biggest military force it could muster to counter the relentless assualt from the intruders, still unbeknowest to their motive or objective. Every single city, town, base and colony had been brought up to high alert and for a few years this had stalemated the previously one sided war, even gaining a few small victories at key points. As the years past, however, one by one the colonies fell, cities seiged and razed, innocents slain and in some cases entire military infrastructure simply demolished. The biggest event in those years was the attack on Vilmari, an industrial city dedicated to producing weapons and equipment to fuel the war effort. Despite heavy resistance from the entirety of the planets military, the city was destroyed within a week, and the few survivors scattered out to nearby towns or even empty planets to escape the massacre. While these losses have been heavy, they have granted the human resistance key intel on the foes they are up against.

DATABASE: Radicals
The Radicals are a group of aliens pacted together towards a single purpose. As of this moment in time this purpose in unknown, however information has been obtained on at least some of the species involved in the pact.
-Spyder
Despite its insectoid name, the Spyder is a small, four-legged mammalian that attacks prey and foes alike by spitting bile from its mouth. This bile can be fired up to 200 metres on average and has an acidic quality to it which burns through all but the toughest armours and hides.
-Bishops
Bishops are the main frontline soldiers of the Radicals, and usually act as a jack-of-all-trades foot soldier. They are capable with a variety of weapons, but are usually spotted operating 32sectar Plasma Rifles. They stand at roughly 6 feet tall and have slightly domed heads and small eyes, usually protected by the standard military gear that they possess.
-Bulkers
Large, hulking beasts that stand at roughly 8 feet tall, these creatures possess incredible amounts of strength and because of this can lift heavy equipment and weapons alike. Most bulkers attack with armour and at close combat, but some have been seen weilding large Bile Launchers.
-Clawviles
Slender and mysterious creatures, these aliens are masters of stealth and assassination. Their primary weapon are the thin, knifelike claws that sprout finger-like from their forearms. These beasts, rather than attacking head on, will remain out of sight and only emerge to eliminate high value targets behind the front lines.
-Jellyfish
Battlefield medics of the Radicals, these repulsive creatures resemble their namesakes with a translucent, disc-like body, adjoined with tentacles which can perform a variety of functions. As well as healing wounded comrades, Jellyfish are renowned at repair and sabotage tasks. Their weakness lies in their low offensive capabilities, and the only way they can defend their fragile bodies is their Jellyfish sting, which in effect has a likeness to a Taser.

"Hawkeye?" Captain Falstern inquired.
The computer screen to his left appeared to bloom into life, before replying.
"Captain Falstern, you woke me?"
"Yes, I need you to ready a battle group of Askari for me" Falstern replied.
"Of course Captain, just say the names and i'll have them ready within the hour."
The Captain wondered over to the console adjoining to the screen that Hawkeye was speaking from, dragging out files on the various Askari he has at his disposal.
"Let's see... I want X-Ray, Hammer, Shayoras, Claymore and Scarlet... and I want a taskforce of Marines to accompany them." the Captain finally replied.
"Done... where do you want them?"
"There." Falstern pointed to an area on the small map on the desk. "600 jumps from Trustworth, we're taking Gammern back... tonight."
