Travellers moving on the main road moving to and fro from the Compendium to the Landing bring word of wisps in the swamps. One of them seemed to be a brighter sort, but it was joined by another, and they were almost lured into the swamps with the sounds of a wailing child before at least one of them knew better and opted not to risk it. Others may not be so wise...
