There will be no racial or sexual discrimination. Every able man and woman is expected to defend their Aliit, whether that be at home or on the battlefield.

- Redefining the meaning of "family" to include individuals you are biologically related to as well as those you are not.
- Losing any perceived difference between adopted children and siblings, and those of biological relation.
- Seeing adoption as not only a normal occurrence but as a viable option for continuing your family.
- Forgetting the idea that bloodline means anything. "It doesn't matter who your father was, only the father you will be."
