Surin usually dons a suit of Cold-Steel; blue trimmed, with a black cloak with crimson rims.
When he rarely wears casual clothes he wears a leather tunic with chain mail instead.
His weapon of choice is a blade called Grimm, made of enchanted Cold-Steel it shatters any other blade it comes in contact with. when held in sunlight it has a blueish tinge to the metal and glows a deep blue in dark. There is a sapphire embedded into the pommel and the hilt is made out of dragon bone.
The sword reaches a mans chest when upright and has a very thin but wide blade, surprisingly the blade is very light; the benefit of Cold-Steel. The tip of the blade is serrated.
Notable features:
A vicious looking scar on his right hand side of his face, it goes from chin to forehead through his eye. This caused him to go blind in his right eye, instead of his usual hazel eyes he has one ghostly white.
He is missing his ring and index finger on his right hand. They were replaced with mechanical ones.
He has a very noble posture due to his royal upbringing in Tualia and Altera.
He has a very rugged and worn look to him
Personality: Surin is a cold hard man, traumatized by the murder of his older sister he swore to forever protect the weak and those in need. Often refered to as the Defender of Tuali, Surin
Prince Surin was born into a royal family in the southern lands of Tuali, he is 5,8, weighs 170 pounds and has a tanned skin colour. He has a sister Princess Fiona, she has golden strawberry hair and is 16 years old. His parents are King Belron and Queen Helva, leaders of the Tuali empire, his farther Belron was a stern old man and his mother was as loving as any mother would be, he lived a peaceful life in the Rainbow Palace of the capital city Vermous until the age of 8.
Southern-men tribes had invaded and had taken the whole of the Tuali Empire by surprise, they had taken most of the coastal cities and within a fought-night had reached the city walls of Vermous
His farther concerned for the safety of his children planned and escape for his son, Surin and daughter Fiona, they were to be stowed away by boat at night by King Quarth's childhood friend General Laxon. His farther planned to send them to this allies in the north to Altera. As the three left by boat Surin look back at the city, it was aflame, the Southern-men had begun to besiege the city, Vermous had no chance of winning and his farther knew that, so did all the villagers and soldiers, but yet they kept fighting so that they may survive. They had all scarified their lives so that the linage may live on.
Halfway through the endless voyage Princess Fiona became ill, for 14 days and 14 nights she lay in her bed screaming in pain, Laxon said it was Southern-men magic and she was cursed. She died 3 days later. They finally made it to the shores of [map name] after six months travelling by boat. They were greeted by the villagers of Dark-Moon, who swiftly sent a raven bearing a message to the High Court. Whilst waiting for an answer the villagers nursed back Prince Surin back to health.
They were soon escorted to the capital Port Silver, they were rushed in to court before the King and his council men. General Laxon explained to the king how Tualian Empire has fallen and Verous is destroyed, Laxon requested the King send one-hundred thousand men to purge Tualia of the Southern-men invaders but the King advised against it, as it would be to dangerous and pointless if the linage of Tualia was destroyed. At that moment Prince Surin was brought into the courtroom, Laxon explained he is the last surviving member of the Tualian linage, the king considered this, however he insisted is would still be to dangerous as they had been at sea for six months.
Laxon asked what he would do with the boy, the King decided he would adopt him into the royal family to keep the boy safe, he vowed to the boy that one day he would get his kingdom back
