Merchants at the Crossroads speak of a strange orb that apparently led someone to the docks there to find a stranded child, lost, who could then reunite them with their parents.
They say it lingers around nearby, leaving snow in its wake.
(I'll be doing something small at the Crossroads at 10PM EST. Late, I know, we'll have variety in times don't worry.)

Whilst it may melt in the morning if it is of a climate unsuited, it still has one evening of a beautiful, gentle snowfall. The night sky is clear, a singular shooting star is glimpsed, and for this brief moment, troubles seem lesser.

Snow falls over Evenfall academy and its grounds for the day and night of the ball hosted there. Even within its halls it seems to snow from the ceilings, though this indoor snow seems to vanish before it touches any surface, as to not damage anything. Sprigs of holly and mistletoe do seem to grow here and there throughout the building, but will vanish within the week and if they are plucked.
