Massive explosion in a nearby street - house gone. Our whole building shook - I thought the world was ending.

Not half the house, the whole thing is in rubble now. Terraced houses are just a long street of houses all joint together, they tend to be quite thin but usually have more floors up.

Well... Nobody got hurt and the data centre is running. However I do feel sorry for the house owners. And gas explosions are pretty nasty too.

yea a year or two back we had one that blew up a house and a third of the street and its neighbors
