[ SERVER UPDATES ]
EVENTS,
The Event Team and Staff DMs continue to work through the Event Request Thread this month, however! I will be encouraging our staff to host their own Events and Event Arcs so that they're able to focus on a storyline that they enjoy sharing. I would also encourage players to focus on events hosted by them- although hunt events for resources are alright, we'd like to make sure that isn't our only focus.
Some event Arcs that are ongoing, such as the Know Arc, Eventtide Arc, will continue. The Greyband Arc and Bart's Colossus Arc are nearing their end. Other event series, such as the one focused around the Hellscape will continue to be ongoing and will evolve around player interactions. We continue to encourage players to try their hand at minor DMing on a player level.
A new Arc called the "Twisted Star" will begin where players involving themselves with the demons associated with Dranoden the Night Star, as allies or enemies, will be sorted through here. Solus, Jstar, and Elz will be helping to organize this Arc. Elz will be taking up events not associated with Dranoden while Jstar will help with the Seamstress and some Dranoden focused events.
DIVINE,
Divine Team has had a bit of turnover this month, and it's a busy time for everyone IRL, but we are still working hard to make progress on artifacts, divinations, and other divine upkeep items, such as curses. We now have four new exalts, and the new members of the team are doing great, and are finding their footing. If you want to help the team, please open a Divint Ticket on discord and make an application!
ARCANE,
With Custom Spells still on pause, Arcane Team has been working on enhancing the experiences of the arcane system by putting more focus on the research tickets being submitted. We hope to finish the grimoire review soon- which will allow us to re-open the custom spell submissions! We were able to release more info on the Animancy update! This info was shared through the Arcane Convention with all current animancers. We feel that we're making headway now, with a solid idea of the direction we want to go.
LORE,
Lore continues to work in many aspects, most recently with our Construct update. Lore tickets & discoveries continue to be made, and the team assists with Arcane & Divine as needed. More projects with HollowCrafting and Modernization are on the horizon.
SERVER OUTREACH,
SO is currently working on new and exciting ways to engage new players & old. The works include a revamp of the Storms Landing Council, a new questline, and more dailies. Have a suggestion for the team or for a new player experience? Make a ticket today!
