Megan and the Tyran Race

Megan

Sorrows Warrior
-The Tyran race used to be a very peculiar race of creatures that mysticized the human race for many centuries. They were rarely seen creatures that formerly were thought to bring good luck if you did see one.
-They are humanoid creatures that were very primitive. They loved peace and harmony with those around them, yet as peaceful creatures, they developed a great deal of stealth and tracking to avoid confrontations that could arise and cause them to be violent. While these creatures have been able to remain peaceful and rarely seen creatures for many centuries, they have now become a completely different race altogether due to the cruelties and evil greed of mankind.
-The Tyran appear very humanlike except for the very distinct cat-like ears and tail that they possess; some even have their entire bodies covered in fur, though it is most often found with the male Tyrans. The Tyran woman are often the size of a smaller human, while several of the males have grown to be absolute hulking beasts. Their cat-like ears provide excellent help in avoiding being seen and as well in tracking. Their heightened sense of smell also makes them better at stealth and searching. Their tail provides an added bonus of balance and stealth in movement and in actions, making them not only very elusive, but very deadly hunters. They are often skilled with ranged weaponry, yet several of the males (giant brutes at that) developed great skill in close combat with their claws or weaponry. They are often very healthy, fit, and flexible in body from their primitive lifestyle, which in a sense, led to their downfall.
-It was after many of these brutes began hunting together that sightings of Tyrans became more frequent, and the curiosity of man got the better of him. Tyrans began to become hunted by the human race instead of respected and thought of as only magical myths. Traps were laid out to capture these elusive creatures, and once caught, they were studied and experimented on. The Tyrans' bodies had chemical properties in their blood and elsewhere that could be used for medicines and elixirs. Their fur became a prized fabric due to how almost unnaturally soft it was and very well kept. Not to mention the fact that they made very good slaves with their fit working bodies, and their …fit working bodies.
-As Tyran villages were tracked down and raided one after another, the once peaceful race began becoming violent to protect themselves and avenge lost ones. Unfortunately, the primitive race could do little to stop the flood of greedy and wicked men who jumped at a chance for the opportunity of money or self gain from hunting and capturing the Tyrans to sell or to own themselves. Tyrans normally have a longevity of life with their bodily make-up that heals and provides regenerative properties to keep them young and active, but once they were forced into slavery and watched as many of their family and friends were butchered or used and abused, they started to die off rather quickly. The only explanation is that they seemed to have lost the will to live, and their bodies allowed them to die rather than keeping them alive and healthy.
-The Tyrans are now a dying race, and often seeing one is no longer a rare thing to boast of, but a reason to run away if they know they have been noticed. After the last of their villages was ravaged, few wild Tyrans are left, and they do not often care to be peaceful as they wander alone in the world, fighting and willing to do whatever it takes to survive out of bondage.

-Megan was one of the citizens of the last Tyran village that was raided. She was only a small child that was incidentally disobeying and wandering away from the village to play and explore while her village was raided. When she returned, the human filth was pillaging and cleaning up their mess by scavenging for anything they could still use, or any Tyran that were hidden away that they could decide what to do with. As soon as she came back, she was spotted. She panicked and she ran, managing to find a forest with trees to hide in with her small size. She hid in the tree for days, scared and unsure of what to do or if it was safe.
-Although Tyran, She never had much time spent with the other Tyrans to learn how to be a master of stealth and deadly precision. She relies mainly on her ears and her nose to keep a slight edge above normal humans. She is often quite clumsy, and her tail seems to have a mind of its own, sometimes providing a hinderance rather than a bonus. Her ability to run very swiftly has kept her alive for almost her whole life. She has become a scavenging thief, but does not know any better as she has no sense of social skills and simply sees it as taking to survive as a cat would.
-While she often tries to avoid big populations during active hours, she sometimes becomes desperate and needs to steal supplies left unwatched during such hours. While she has learned how to skim by on her own, through scavenging and mild hunting, she lives on. While many other Tyrans are still alive because they found a new reason to live - revenge -, Megan continues on because she doesn't know any better and loves to explore and see flowers and animals and amazing things.
-She does not know how to read or write very well, and her method of speaking is somewhat childish. She loves to observe and watch things, as well as to explore and see pretty sights, sounds, and smells. After she fled from her village, the only friend she has ever had to make her feel safe are trees, and she loves trees dearly. While mainly being a big scaredy cat thats just trying to survive, and not doing a very good job of it on her own, she really does have a big heart - she is just uneducated and the only thing that she knows is that she needs food to live and that other creatures are out to get her - including humans.

This is great. But may i ask you to change the name of the Tyrans? I have a town called Tyranna, and in my short stories there is a city called Tyre. I understand if you dont want to change it but i thought id ask anyway.
