I ain't in the HW group, I am in the Rejected Realms...because I was kicked out for being in-active, and I think my place is doing quite well, considering I only go on it when I get an email saying that my nation will go into ruin if I don't log in

The Empire of Aarun is a huge, safe nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, cynical population of 325 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 49%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Retail.
Same-sex marriages are increasingly common, citizens select which government department gets their income tax Krihsts each year, droves of former desperados are applying to join the border police, and political parties are banned from advertising and receiving private donations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Aarun's national animal is the Dog, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Krihst.

As you can see.... my currency is the Krihst, pronounced Christ (See what I did there? ) And apparently in my absence homo-sexual marriages are increasingly common.. which i assume is good. And my national animal is the Dog. Because... they are better than anything else other than pandas.
