Short Description of the Government's composition and general behavior:
Arcturix is a relatively old country and geographical region, historically very self-minding and closed to the outside world during most of what would be Altera's middle/bronze/steel ages. Most of it's history would be resumed in a few feudal realms, grand duchies and kingdoms fighting eachother in relatively small scale wars. When the industrialisation started (it is safe to assume such an event didn't originate in Arcturix itself) the dominant aristocratic and military castes, who were now part of a larger state, the Imperium of Arcturix (which has recently imploded) was quick to adapt to it (a comparison would be when feudal japan first met European explorers), gaining and sometimes even stealing technologies, to keep itself relatively modern and advanced. This explains why the society itself, as a whole, never got a real chance or the time to follow said modernization. As a result, Arcturix remains a quite close-minded, generally capitalistic society where the Nobility, Aristocracy and Military castes are all-powerful, and generally dictate the way of life, through traditions and harsh rites, with little political freedom or civil rights (although society tends to be quite liberal concerning race and sex-related debates, and sexual orientation. Arcturix never had a true religion to dictate the ways of life, or if it did, it wasn't as omnipresent as Real World religions) and most inside feuds tending to be between noble families or factions within the state, meaning a high level of corruption exists in the large economy. The sudden modernisation also explains the quite un-orthodox marriage between very old trends of clothing, architecture and food, with the modern technological devices, transports, weapons and methods of production.

Arc Grand Army

Arcturix takes enormous pride in it's military forces, which is seen as the bulwark, protectors and peacekeepers of the nation. All justice and order-related jobs are occupied by Reservists and military personnel, meaning that every security force is also a part of the army. This includes private protection agencies, all police corps, riot police squads, and security firms. This allows for a much larger percentage of soldier per inhabitant, as all individuals part of the justice and peacekeeping system all had a regular soldier's training, and assigned regiments should the need arise. This way of administering things comes from Arcturix's recent past, in which the state was loosely overseen, and the army, the security and the justice systems were quite chaotic. The Krone reforms brought a more efficient system, where the state leaders are also the heads and suppliers of the army. The ones heading the country, funding the army and their own private little militias are those with billions in their pockets, and also the ones that feed, clothe and arm their men. The only problem with such a system is the possibility of clan wars, between rivalling companies, dynasties or military factions. Such are not that infrequent, with fiery engagements /within the very country/ very much possible.

The Arc Grand Army, with a capacity of over 1,25 billion possible recruits, bases it's tactics on brute strength, with enormous weaponry and horribly scary engines of destruction, built be the rivalling and omnipresent Arms Manufacturing industries, the nation's largest economical sector. It has been known to take very bold moves, especially under the command of the current military head, General Hans-Markvart.

An Arc individual soldier is usually a decently equipped lad, with what you would expect from modern day soldiers, while perhaps a bit obsolete. However, their strength lies both in number, and in all types of support. Arcturix fields large amounts of armored vehicules, tanks, warplanes, a few hundreds of zeppelins (why not), a large fleet and it's most recent invention, developed with Mechanican ''repurposed'' and ''modified'' (hehehe) designs of cyborg enhancement implanted into the elite soldiers, turning them into literal war machines. The current Delegate to the World Council by Arcturix, Mayor Klaus Frenshire, is a perfect example, with his most recent enhancing process raising him to over 85% enhanced and 15% organic.

Keep in mind with low science your reverse-engineering won't have the cyborg parts be of the same quality as I've got. Like the Bioshock Infinite Handyman vs Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Of course. I did state over several places it's crude, military-focused cyborg engineering, did I?
It's about same level of tech as the Handyman, yes, although... less creepy and rustic looking. If you look at my leader's hand, it's about that kind of cyborg enhancement, obvious, but serving it's purpose.
