General Information:

The Queendom of Morgnatha is a small, devout nation, remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. The compassionate, cynical population of 23 million Morgnathans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.​

Morgnatha is a mostly peaceful mountain country that strives to stay out international issues that do not concern it or it's people. But in recent times it has found that it has involved its self in more and more in other countries issues.

The people of Morgnatha are highly religious and their ways of worship are often misunderstood and judged harshly due to a recent rebellion that split the country in two. People often believe that the people of Morgnatha practice in human sacrifice but that could not be farther from the truth. No innocent person has ever been executed in the name of their goddess Sermell. Only those that are convicted in the court of law for crimes such as murder, rape, abuse, and endangering the country and its people are executed in the name of the goddess to provide order and to have her blessing of safety. This is often misunderstood as an enemy nation likes to accuse the nation of Morgnatha of 'sacrificing' humans. But this cannot be farther from the truth.

Major products produced in Morgnatha are books, Uranium and baskets. Cars have been banned except for political and military uses for it's hurt to the environment which Morgnatha strives to keep up. Same sex marriage is very common, and all citizens are barcoded to keep tract of their activities and to lower crime rate.

Queen Morganth Seprentine II​

She is the sole holder of power over the entire government. She has three advisers that she trusts to ask for advise on issues and policies.

Morganth Seprentine II is the daughter of the first ruler of the same name. She took charge by rising through the ranks of the government and taking control with little to no conflict as the country was in shambles before. Many once called her a dictator but with her daughter the current queen that all came to an end and all of the country accepts her as their leader.

It is said that the Queen and her bloodline are all blessed by the Goddess that they all worship and that is the sole reason the people do not challenge their rule.​

So I was just testing my nation against a few notable nations in the Democratic Council of Hollowworld.
Honestly we lost most things as we are still /so small/ compared to other nations but here are two things that we actually did win at that I found quite interesting! *Inserts political propaganda here*

Most Authoritative out of these six nations. (This REALLY surprised me.)

Holy War in Julianus​

It has come to the attention of the great Nation of Morgnatha that the eastern port city, and the region around it, has been forcefully taken by an extremist Housekeeper under the name of Peter Jannaisen. Housekeeper Jannaisen has formed his own "personal army" and has moved and taken the region of Julianus by force. Sadly the nation of Morgnatha had not expected such extreme actions from a housekeeper who follows their "god" Vermella.

The house keeper as named himself sovereign leader of the region. The government has moved to evacuate all citizens from the region to be sure as little innocents are lost in the coming war between Morgnatha and Jannasisen's army. As of right now a large group of troops are advancing on the now evacuated city of Julianus. It appears that after a recent broadcast into the city telling civilians to flee the area for the capital the Housekeeper has supposedly surrendered. Though the army of Morgnatha is still taking all necessary precautions on approaching the center of the city. The nations of Mechanica Rationalis and Sincronia have offered aid and are standing by if help is required.

In addition to this various radio broadcasts originating from the city of Julianus have been iinterrupting all radio in Morgnatha. The broadcast spews nonsense about the falsehood of Sermell, and questioning the need of the government to hide its sordid history. These broadcasts seem to be coming from Housekeeper Jannaisen himself. The government has stopped all broadcasts saying that "We will not let the lies of this rogue housekeeper infect and disturb the civilians of Morgnatha. We are actively trying to make our way into Julianus as to capture the housekeeper and deliver him to Corvermell as the nation has requesting."

This war is a truly saddening affair as it is happening only weeks before a peace council meeting between the nations of Morgnatha and Corvermell. The people do hope that the rash actions of this rogue housekeeper do not foil the attempts at peace between these two nations.

Construction Unearths House of Heretical God!​

A recent construction sight, which was planned to one day build yet another Hypr-Mega-Ultra-Super Mall, has uncovered something much more interesting. It was found that just under the ground near I-99 is a large ruined temple. The government has halted construction on the Mall, to many retail shoppers dismay, so that they can study the temple further and find it's true purpose.

Just after a short look through the temple it is discovered that the temple is in fact an old temple devoted to the heretical god, Vermella. This is a surprise to all of the nation as it was thought that Vermella was a newly founded god by the Vermellans. Many are protesting saying that the government should bull dose the heretical temple. Jurark Benderson, leader of the faith of Sermell, says "The very existence of such a building in our lands spits in the face of our goddess! We need to remove all Vermellan influence from the lands and cleanse the temple with holy fire!". There are also Vermellan activists that are pleading to the government to allow them access to the sanctuary so that they may openly worship their goddess and study these ancient temple. They claim that so much knowledge could be found within, which may unearth the origin of the nation of Morgnatha and the truth about Sermell and Vermella. Historians agree with the Vermellans saying that there is absolutely no harm in studying the temple to find out more.

The government is slowly examining the temple themselves. All information about the temple has come to a halt. NAd the government states, "We intend to study the entirety of the temple and decide what to do with it once we have found all that we can. Until then we would like the media to stay away from the site so that we may study these ruins in peace." The government has said that the Mall will be moved to a different site as they examine this one. This may be a bit of relief to all those retail therapist, but the new date for the opening is even later than the original, set to be done in the year 2018. We will update the community once we have more news on the temple but until then that is all for this segment.

The nation of Morgnatha is in out rage after a recent planned peace meeting with Corvermell in which the nation of Corvermell didn't show up!

The government of Morgnatha had planned a peaceful meeting between itself and Corvermell in hopes that they both may one day reunify together and form a strong alliance. The government of Morgnatha has released a statement stating that "We had planned to allow Corvermell to set up embassies in our lands. Along with adding their (heretical) god as a official religion inside our nations and set up public places of worship run by housekeepers inside Morgnatha. Not only that but most importantly we had planned to allow one of their own to take a seat upon the royal advisers. The most powerful spot in the government under the Queen. In exchange we were hoping to be able to unify again under one banner as sister nations. Making us stronger together than we would be apart."

But all talks of peace were ended when the nation of Morgnatha was stood up at the peace meeting by Corvermell. This comes as a striking blow to Morgnatha as they have been reassuring their populace that the nation of Corvermell is a reasonable nation. Now with the recent act of Corvermell the people of Morgnatha have banned together in a strike against the government stating, "Our leaders do not understand what Corvermell has done! They are not working for the people any more and we are tired of it. We will not allow the Queen to continue to tear our great nation down further. She must be stopped before there is nothing left."

In order to calm the population of Morgnatha the nation has closed it's borders to Corvermell and has begun enforcing an embargo on it's nation. Many rumors circulate that the nation of Morgnatha plans to take more actions upon Corvermell in the future. For Morgnatha can now see that the nation of Corvermell is unchanging and refuses to release the grudge against Morgnatha despite how beneficial it would be to both the nations.

The nation of Corvermell claims to advertise peace over war but it is obvious today that they are just hypocrites that cannot seem to band together to do something to help make peace between the two long feuding nations.

News from the government of Morgnatha has been 'leaked' that a scheduled execution of the Rogue Housekeeper is set to happen soon. Also news of two more executions have been told.

The government has released the following statement.

"The supposed execution of three housekeepers was just a small hoax in which we along with the help of Corvermell used in hopes of capturing a rebel group inside Morgnatha. The group had somehow managed to kidnap the Queen but handed the Queen back over to the government after they believed we didnt have a peace meeting and faked an execution. We cannot release any more information on the matter. Just that the Queen is now safe, the housekeepers are unharmed and on their way back to Corvermell, and the rebel group has been captured."

The Morgnatha Survival Games Set to Begin!​

The heavily controversial Morgnatha games are set to begin within a few months! For those who do not know Morgnatha holds a Survival Tourney once every 5 years. Widely popular all across the nation. Especially for those of the Church of Sermell who is the ones who endorse the entire event. The event is broadcast all across the nation free of charge.

Details of the games are as follows.

There are three teams, one for each of the major cities of Ronasta, Julianus, and Sevrentin. Each team is composed of 5 members ranging in all ages. They are each placed in an arena deep within the Morgnatha national forest and forced to survive for one months time. All while only equipped with only a single sword and light clothing. They must fight through the cold nights, the wild life, and avoid being killed by the other teams. At the end of the month the team with the most surviving members wins. The family of teams gets a tax exemption for 5 years and the entire city gets a 25% take cut.

While the games are wildly popular in Morgnatha, bringing in billions of Rhetts each time it comes around. Other countries see the games as barbaric and unlawful. But all the members of the games are volunteers, personally selected from a massive group candidates who are all willing and able to fight and die for the glory of winning the Morgnatha Survival cup!

And not only Morgnathan's participate! It has been common for foreigners to come and participate of their own free will. Foreigners are rewarded differently as they are not a part of the nation and thus are not taxed and may choose which town they hope to represent. 'Champions' from countries are also accepted if the champion is willing. No person can nor will be forced to participate. If a champion is a part of a winning team the nation in which the champion comes from recieves a large sum of money donated directly to the government.
Auditions will begin in one month and all those looking to participate are more than welcome to try out.
