New server features ! (plugins awesomeness novelties :D )

Helllllllo my dearies !!!

Since a lot of people doesn't know when new things comes to the server, here's a little thready-thread for that

So ! Onto awesome things !!!

--=== HollowBook ===--​

With HollowBook, you can copy the books you have, unsign them and even sign them with your RP name !

As usual, you can find help and the commands in-game, using :
/book or /book help

-- Copying a book --

Just hold the book you want to copy in your hand, and type :
/book copy [number of copies]


Be aware though that copying books cost money, and needs some raw materials for the copy !

Currentlt the costs are per copy :
- 20 radiants
- 1 Book and Quill


Copying a book will produce a new Edition of the book :


And as with copying in Medieval times, copying might bring some.... "typos" in the resulting copy !
The higher numbers of successive copies of different editions, the more typos get brought in !

Seek the original author of the book, they are the only one that can copy a book without any typos !

-- Unsigning a book --

Made a mistake ? Want to change something in a book you just signed ?
Easy-peasy !

Just hold the book and use :
/book unsign

And it will revert your lovely book to a Book and Quill, with all it's text in !

Unsigning also cost some money ! (changes have to be made to the book, seal removed, etc etc... )
Currentlt the costs for unsigning a book are :
- 60 radiants

And don't try to unsign someone else's book !
You can only unsign your own books !

-- Signing a book with your RP name --

Want your book to be signed with your RP name / nickname ?

Just hold the signed book and use :
/book rpsign

The book will be signed with your nickname, with your MC name appearing under it ! (for people know who wrote it )

Just remember that you cannot RP-sign a book if you don't have any nickname !

--=== HollowMailbox ===--​

With HollowMailbox, get alerted when you have new in-game mail upon connecting !
Don't get excited that fast ! This is only a warning plugin, this will not deliver your mail in-game !
Use the Postal Services for that ! [self-promotion mode off]

-- Setting your mailbox up --

Just look at a chest, and use :
/mailbox



You will receive a message stating that your mailbox have been set.

From now on, if someone put something in this chest, you'll receive a message upon connecting !

Oh, and don't try to use a chest protected by someone else as your mailbox.... it will not work !

-- Checking your mails --

Want to know if anyone left some mail for you while your were on the other part of Altera ?
Use :
/mailbox check

And you'll instantly know if you have some mail !

-- Removing your mailbox --

Just use the same /mailbox command when looking at something else than a chest !

Using HollowRumors, you can create awesome and enigmatic rumors directly in the game!

-- Adding a new rumor --

Have a rumor you want to spread among people ?....
Have a dirty little secret about another RP character you want to share ?...
And that without them knowing it's who said it ?

Just use :
/rumors add [duration] [rumor]



The duration have to be added in days, and each day will cost you some radiants !

Currentlt the costs are 75 radiants per day!

-- Reading the rumors --

Now that you've added a rumor.... Want to learn some secrets of other players ?...
Want to peak into the rumors they added ?
Easy !!

The Crown has set up an Alteran Gazette stall in Port Silver main square !



See that Black&White stall ?
There is a bookshelf there where you can freely pick up a copy of the Rumors book !

And in that book.... you'll find everything you ever wanted to know !


Oh and for the slow-mindeds and those who cannot read between my cryptic lines : the book updates itself automatically when new updates get added / old ones get removed

--=== Message boards ===--​

Last newborn in the family of HollowWorld plugins, HollowBoards is a totally new and revolutionary way of displaying in-game content, RP messages, advertisement, wanted posters, anything you would want !

-- So, what is a message board? --

Look at this, and tell me what you see :


Yes, indeed! Any sign can be a message board!
All it needs, is to have [Message board] written on the third line!
You can write whatever you want on other lines, add information of the type of content if you like, or just leave it blank, it's up to you!

-- But, how do I use them? --

As simple as right-clicking on it!



This will open the board inventory view, allowing you to :
- read the messages pinned on it by left-clicking the books. This will display the book's contents in your chat!
- remove the messages by right-clicking them, putting them in your inventory.
- add new messages by dropping them anywhere in the board inventory (top 3 rows)

-- What else can I do? --

** If you're holding a book in your hand when you're right-clicking the sign, it will automatically add it to the board!
And if you sneak at the same time (hold the shift key), it will replace the author name by "Unknown", allowing you to add anonymous messages!

** Want to create your own boards ?
Just place down a sign, and write [Message board] on the third line !
A message will pop up in your chat, saying the message was successfully created!

** Want to remove a board ?
Remove the sign!
But all its contents won't get lost! If the board had any, they will get dropped to the ground !


It's now at your turn to create boards, put some content, add wanted posters, add job offers, whatever you want!
Fill that world of RP messages !
