Flyers are sent to all major cities willing to post and town criers are instructed to announce what appears to be a recruitment campaign.
The Free City of Thorne is seeking recruits for its city guard. Anyone interested must travel to the city of Thorne where they will receive food, lodging, and an honest days pay for hard work and discipline. This is not your average military. You will be serving under some of the best and most skilled fighters in all of Gottland. If you think you have what it takes, report to the barracks at the top of the mountain overlooking the city.

So Arch and I are looking on setting up a non-noble fighting force to guard Thorne and its surrounding territories. Essentially this group will be performing tasks accustomed with many medieval militaries. This group will be doing patrols in and around Thorne, sparring and other training, and to keep things interesting we'll be running mini events both CRP oriented and plot based. If you don't have experience with CRP (Combat Role-play) that's perfectly fine, we're here to teach you. If you want to join either send either I or Arch a pm or meet with one of us IC in Thorne.
