The days in which Demons and Undead riddle our lands are not the days in which we should fight one another. We agreed upon such matters during the summit, which was hosted by Varyn, if I am not mistaken. So, let us not break the agreements made during it.
We have two enemies worth our attention, and those are the Demons and the Undead.
Squabbles about trivial matters could best be dealt with by force once we are not faced with an invasion once the rifts start opening around the realm and whatever is on the other side starts coming out.

I suggest this be dealt with diplomatically, atleast for now.
Therefore, I suggest this be talked through.
I'd like to invite Herennia and Varyn to Aeroch Rimtar so the matter of repentance and compensation can be discussed before any weapons are drawn.
