You peek through the doorway.
The hall isn't very long at all. Shortly to the left, it ends with a window draped in thick cloth.
A few feet down to your right is a doorway to another dim, moonlit room.
You can't make out where or what everything is, but you can tell the floor is much cleaner.
You sure do miss that rum.
You're hungry, too.
And tired.
Jasper's ears flick and twitch around at the silence.
