Shattered Skyrim

[I am Wake]

Taking a brief break from my current playthrough to check out Shattered-- a mod series I was inspired by this video-- to try and play Skyrim more as a survival game.

In this alternate universe, The Dragonborn was petrified at the Eastern Watchtower after absorbing the dragon soul via unknown means; a spell that caused them to halt their adventure.
Alduin then came down from destroying High Hrothgar... and Skyrim as we know it, perhaps even beyond, was destroyed.
Utterly.

Draugr completely roam the destroyed lands now, the ruins of former civilization where only ghosts now reside.

And I mean, they are pretty much everywhere.
I've turned survival mode on and found they often patrol the roads.

Thus I had to take the scenic route to Riverwood.

To make this mod series harder, I am also being hunted...
Once I reach level 5, they'll start coming for me..

My Skyrim is now a horror game.

Riverwood was completely destroyed...

I don't think the Riverwood trader will be open today.
Or tomorrow.

But Stump lives!

Tent made; it can be placed anywhere (mostly). Helpful with a campfire. Thus we can travel steady.

First stop: Falkreath.
Across the lake.

The young Jarl was turned into a dragon priest, it seemed.
After defeating the small legion of Draugr and putting the former Jarl to rest, I continued to Whiterun.

This is where the Khajiit said Alduin decended from High Hrothgar and laid siege to all of Skyrim, leaving it in the state it is in now.

There were a few refugees outside of the city, gathered.
I took the only willing combatant: Uthgerd the Unbroken.

Together.... we took back the city...

The Dragon Priest this time was poor Farengar.
He got stuck.

The city has been taken back from the undead...
...whats left of it.

Even in death, he is annoying.

after clearing Whiterun, the new objective was to find the ones who shouted Dovahkiin before Alduiner came down and destroyed the world

so long story short, I did- fighting dragur all the way up the mountain

The next quest objective is...
Killing every Dragon Priest in Skyrim.
Every single one.
