Once two royal elementals clashed within the Northern Kingdoms, long forgotten. The first was Shoreless, a rising royal, that began to drown the un-claimed shores of islands. The other, the Sea of Storms, who drowned foreign ships and other creatures of the seas. As the Kingdoms fell to the Undead and the mortals fled Eastward, they struck and began to lay claim upon new territories. For a decade, scouting ships never returned with news- feared to be lost in their fray, until at last the conflict settled. The victor was uncertain, as the entity that emerged no longer spoke as Shoreless did. Instead, its desires flickered, of fury and wrath.

Scholars now write of the Shoreless Storms, an Elemental that rules the now Northern Ruined Kingdom.
Preventing ships from returning to their ancient homes, unless a toll was paid.
