It was twenty years ago, when the oil on the West side of Earth ran out. It seems UK was hit hard...and the government, insulted by other countries, watching America and Europe/Asia fall into their own pockets of the world, had enough.
England became it's own empire again. And with this, raged war across the helpless Europe. Over the twenty years, America attacked hard on the British Empire, but war continued. Far west, where they still had oil, bought the ruins of Europe, Russia, Japan, China, and even India together to form the Pact Of Peace two years ago. So far, while under attack by British Empire, never made any attempt to attack back....
..until recently.
British Empire, considered tyrants, have been forced back to England, under attack hard by American Marines and small amounts of what remains of Europe. Until what is left....
...is Solus. London was destroyed, so British empire fell back to Solus, England's capital. While made of a few man-made islands, and a floating district, Solus was well known for it's tourism. And still is....even in war....it's still a major attraction.
But the American Marines have come and invaded half of it, and to make it worse, in an unknown amount of time, the Pact of Peace are coming...they are coming...
I have my own idea for a story here. And I'll mark below

Solus's population remains high, despite the war. West Solus is full of all races, mostly English. East is a warzone, and the floating city is full of American tourist, who think the explosions below are "awesome".
Other
The three factions, The American Alliance, British Empire, and Pact of Peace all hate each other and will fire upon each other.
West Earth is full of oil. Still running on cars, planes, and normal high-tec equipment.
While East Earth have gone Steampunk style, and run most of the machines and weaponry on coal, which produces steam, and steam is what makes things work.
West Solus has been invaded by the American Marines. But British Empire are having problems taking it back...
My Storyline:
Solus, invaded by American's, and knowing about the future attack of the Pact of Peace, decide they need to hire someone....
There is one 'boy' alive. A specialist. Codename "Drake". Drake is a man, aged 20, who gets things done with...MUCH damage.
Armed with two Flintlocks, and his arm-cannon (a large piece of machinery on his right arm, which is a cannon and flame-thrower), Drake has been hired by the British Government to take out the American's in the area, before the Pact of Peace arrive.
The story from there is long-winded and I won't explain because it's very hard to.
So long story short...
...Drake manages to get to the Royal District (While destroying half of East Solus), where the American Marines begin escaping. Reason? British Empire and Drake had no idea.
But when the Royal District begins getting attacked, and begins falling from the sky (with Drake on it), the Pact of Peace, flying in MIGS, and parachuting men everywhere, arrive.
An invasion. Six times worse then the American invasion. And in a flash, most of Solus is already in burning ruin.
I won't explain my storyline after that point. It's very muddled...and in case I make it a real book, I don't you all knowing xD
So use your imagination to think of an outcome.
