Legend
(A song about Jishrim and the creation of Visage. Made to make it known how much of a bad guy Jishrim is, for one Vorar Elem-Polvur Baron. It'll hopefully be floating around somewhere IG eventually. Oh and thanks IceandFire and Niah for all your help~)
The Birth of the Porcelain Child
"This world is its web, our madness its sphere
The Spider! The Spider! Don’t let it come near
It slinks through the shadows, no longer confined
Searching and searching for the cracks in our mind
(Weaving its webs through the cracks in our miiiiind)
Oh! Protect yourself! be on-guard
For spiders as they crawl
Listen now to your bard
For Jishrim’s the worst of ‘em all
Master of Madness, purveyor of Pain
Twas the Spider who defiled
The heavens above - the Gods holy plane
With the birth of the porcelain child.
(Twice marked porcelain chiiild)
Of equal parts water and equal parts fire
The Godchild did not falter or tire
No wall could stop it, its skin like bone
Born of Jishrim for reasons unknown
(Haunting our world for reasons unknooown)
Silas, the Scholar, sought to confine
The Child we simply assumed benign
And so we begged, nothing could impair
Our desire to keep it, under our care
(And so it was left, under our caaare)
Oh! Protect yourself! be on-guard
For spiders as they crawl/
Listen now to your bard
For Jishrim’s the worst of ‘em all
Master of Madness, purveyor of Pain
Twas the Spider who defiled
The heavens above - the Gods holy plane
With the birth of the porcelain child.
(Twice marked porcelain chiiild)
No one could raise it, it would not stay still
It began with the Rangers and ended in Thill
The scholarly town was where it conversed
With the Librarian, one of Jishrim’s cursed
(A woman afflicted to always be cuuursed)
It had the power to lift Jishrim’s mark
Removing the spiders that lurked in the dark
Yet the Child could only absolve one person
To save another, one must worsen
(And so the Librarian chose to wooorsen)
Oh! Protect yourself! be on-guard
For spiders as they crawl
Listen now to your bard
For Jishrim’s the worst of ‘em all
Master of madness, purveyor of pain
Twas the Spider who defiled
The heavens above - the Gods holy plane
With the birth of the porcelain child.
(Twice marked porcelain chiiild)
Patron of thieves, king of deceit
Remover of curses - no small feat
An innocent Child, at least at first
Took on Jishrim's mark, forever cuuursed"
