The Church
For all else are false.
The Church represents the main body of worshippers of the one true God upon Altera, Ignis Synnove. The sole goals of The Church are to spread the Truth of God to the world and to decry the falsities of the Pantheon. The Church is tied to the House of Anhald but is not exclusively composed of Anhalders. The “High Church of Altera” is unrecognised by The Church. The main tenets held by those who follow The Church are found in Der Schmöker, but they can easily be summarised.
1. Ignis is the one and only God.
2. The Truth of God must be spread.
3. All other 'gods' are false.
Devotion to The Church is simple; for you must simply abide by the tenets laid out by the Doctrine of God.
The Church is headed by the Bischof. Under him are Priests of The Church. As Order must be maintained, while performing Holy Duties priests must wear the following;
Outside of official Church duties, anything may be worn that is not heretical/heathenous in nature.
The Knights of St.Elias are the Holy Order bound to The Church.
