The Markgrave line

The entirety of the military of PrussoArcturix is relocating to bases in the south of Prussoarcturix. Parades are being held as the servicemen move to the south. News broadcasts by the state are boasting about its new and improved nuclear missile arsenal and nationalistic stories of bravery.

Due to the decreased military presence in the cities, the police has been given full authority to use military grade weaponry and to open fire on any criminals. Prisons have been abolished, crime is genetic and rehabilitation is futile.

A large strip of land between the two countries is being dug up and being ruined to make troop movement inhospitable creating an artificial "No mans land", covered with mines and bunkers, and covered with large arrays of artillery. Large concrete walls lead to choke points and more defensible positions as the once lush and lively forests are now a heavily militarized zone.

Work has begun on constructing bunkers and laying mines, along with a sophisticated deep underground tunnel network to move from location to location, sometimes leading to the surface to heavily fortified gun positions.

Soldiers from both Arcturix and Prussoarcturix stand side by side with interceptors guarding the airspace and the fleet guarding the nearby waters. Citizens and military alike are celebrating the construction of the new "Markgrave line" which is to protect us from Volopian warmongering.

If god is with us, who stands against us?

Volopia would, naturally, feel offended by what is essentially being told that it is untrustworthy, and would respectfully request the withdrawal of military forces from it's borders.

I left the WA, I wasn't exactly capable of endorsing you. Plus, many in Volopia have a slight phobia towards highly skilled upper classes they can't compete with. Such as intelligent robots.

A Makorath news station reports the following.

"In a show of friendship and support the Glorious Leader and High-General of Makorath Draven Makorath XIV has sent the 97th and 98th Battalions to offer support to our country's faithful ally and fellow Protecterate, Prussoarcturix. Along with Makorath's genetically engineered soldiers in state-of-the-art Exosuits which we will show a picture of here...

the government is also sending undisclosed amounts of Conquest-Class Military Tanks and Dragon-Class Attack Helicopters aswell as the new Vicotry-Class Troop Transport Helicopters which can be shown here....





could this be a show of loyalty to Prussoarcturix or could this be a sign of the government readying for war?

*The program cuts out for a minute leaving a Technical Difficulties sign and then it comes back on the previous woman gone and now showing a young man who is seen to be sweating a bit*

Because Prussoarcturix was moved east on the map to make way for Turious, the border with Volopia is now a narrow strait of water. By all means, continue building up the border, but be aware that there is water between Prussoarcturix and Volopia.

Just think of it as fighting over the bosphorus and dardanelles with one nation on each side.))

In support of the Markgrave Line, the People's Navy of Tarjikstan has deployed the fleet, and the Naval Air Forces on the carriers SRS Tuleiman and SRS Spirit of Kolibaya.

Battleships, destroyers, and all manner of naval vessel patrol the waters north of Volopia.



The carriers, loaded with helicopters and strike aircraft, lurk behind the line of warships, waiting for the sign of danger.

*The Dominion of Makorath is starting to move in very large and very securely guarded containers along with even more military vehicles some of which include combat engineering vehicles, Self propelled artillery, and Anti aircraft.*

No public statement by any significant government officials has been made, but rumors persist that Otto Thari, Minister of Military, has been preparing for the worst. But again, these are only rumors.

((Volopia, should an espionage group be observing, is indeed fortifying it's north, though making a decent effort to make it look like little more than the reorganization of the military that had been happening since the end of the civil war.))

Demographics in Natrizima are simple, you either work in Manufacture, Military or Administration.
The unemployed are either too old, too young or too sick to work. This includes conscripts, reservists, volunteers and pretty much everyone Natrizima could put a gun in the hand of and expect them not to shoot you in the back.
But i'll dial it back to 5 Million
