is it just me.... or is she wearing jedi robes?

It's not just you. The original art for her was the sketch piece...
As you can see on the left side of the full image, it's more of a tube skirt.
When I passed her off to the next artist for the full color rendition, she was put in what turned out to look like Jedi robes, probably because of my description of what's effectively a Karate Gi (the white uniform) which I chose for ease in cleaning and maintenance, with a brown robe over that (which is present in the original sketch).
