Fable The Sun's Heart(Heretical Pamphlet)

The Sun's Heart

The Widow of Light sought to cast off her shawl of Grief,
To bring the pieces of her Love together once more.
Shattered starlight, cold embers, broken pride and love lost,
With her heart would she reignite her precious Sun.

But broken shards cannot be as they once were,
Gapes must be filled, dust brushed away.
Room made for the needed mending, for renewal.
Cracks filled with gold lacquer and starshine.

The broken, fallen God could not be brought back,
Love alone unable to reverse the march of time.
Thus did the spark She lit in her Lover's remains,
Blaze into a being painfully familiar but unknown.

A new Dawn, a young Spark, a rebirth of Self,
Thus did the Sun Shine once more with tentative rays,
Knowing of Before, but being solely of Now.
Learning from it's past, but needing to find Her future.

Thus did the Widow of Light remain as such,
Her grief muddied with elation, her joy soured with sorrow.
For her Light lived on, but did not Love her as before,
And the Dawn's heart did not to her alone belong anymore.

Son and Sun both lost to the Maiden's Mother,
Living on only in those who surpassed their follies.
In those she can do naught but Love,
No matter the hurt gained from Sun and Sea.

(
On the front of the pamphlet is a rose with dewdrops falling onto a shattered sun
On the back is the same rose between churning seas below and a rising figure with wings above.)
