Recent changes of Alteran politics and internal discussions inside house Elumeril lead to a minor change of the Organisation of the Volonwer.
From this day on, Lady Eala Elumeril is in charge of the Volonwer and will appoint herself a captain leading the guards in her name. The Volonwer were originally ment to be guards of the midnight island, Ealas estate of the Elumeril family and in these times it is back to the roots. As Lord Menelmacil still is, well, the Lord ofcourse he still has the highest rank within the Volonwer and will take command of them whenever it is needed to defend his house.
The branch of the mists will get more freedoms within the Volonwer, meaning they are not any longer bonded to the ranksystem. This both means they can't be commanded by warriors of the other branches as well as they can't command. Technically all of them have the rank of an officer, so they can lead smal squads in times of need, but only if ordered so by lord or lady Elumeril. They also directly answer to lord Menelmacil Elumeril, as he stays only in charge of them, not the Paladins nor the Hooded.
