Backstory
Thorkell's father is a common guard for a coastal settlement of Sangrians, on the eastern coast, south of Eldpoint. He was respected in his career but his ego surpassed quickly surpassed his skill. His only respectable quality was the dedication and precision which he had developed for craftsmanship. He had grandiose expectations for his linage and had his mind set on having as many sons as his wife could give him. That's all she was in his eyes, a means to an end. Their mothers first pregnancy yielded triplets; Faith, Thorkell and [Redacted] Meadow. Father had neither the patience nor the desire for a daughter and sent her away for adoption. Many years later, his mother fell pregnant once again with a baby girl. As with Faith, this baby was also sent to an orphanage, however Thorkell was now old enough to witness and remember this event.
In the Ashstadt one day, Faith and Thorkell happen to be drinking in the same tavern when Leofwine and Xiqu noticed the similarities between the sibilings. As Thorkell had witnessed the sending off of his younger sister, this led him to believe the girl sharing his last name, birthday, face and race was likely a lost twin of his. When confronting his Father about the fact he confirmed the allegations in a very matter of fact manner, without a hint of shame or remorse.
