[Overview]

A group in its infancy, the Iron Band has only recently been formed by Vowrawn and Godmund.
Their shared goal? To begin a campaign against the Undead of the Central Forests and any other monsters that may dwell within.

The group has seen rapid growth in its short existence and has been bolstered by large sums of radiants from mysterious benefactors, allowing it to capitalize on this expansion. Whilst still young, this band of warriors seem poised to make a mark on Altera.

[Philosophy]

Altera is a land full of great wonder, it does not take one long to find evidence of powers beyond the grasp of most mortals. These forces are not inherently good nor bad, natural or unnatural, they merely exist external to the ethics of mortals. However the overriding principle one should bear in mind is that these powers can be dangerous, and when faced with danger one either struggles or submits.

Strength recognises strength.

One must rise to the challenge and meet adversity head on, only through willpower and adequate force of arms can one determine their own destiny in the shadow of a hostile environment. We believe this power is achievable for those who have the needed will.

Ergo, we call on those present in Altera to rise above, seize your destiny and drive back the scourge of undead and other ‘monsters’ from this land.

[Structure]

Thegn Vowrawn & Thegn Godmund - Co-leaders

The Iron Band operates under a fairly simple co-leader structure with two Thegns leading the Reeves and the Associates. Exact member lists are not published but most members of the Band can be identified by a rank dependent medallion. There is no specific patron deity associated with the Band, however the majority follow either the Grey Lady or Valiant.

The Band operates from their fortified guildhall the ‘Iron Hold’ which can be found out in the Central Forests.
