I enjoy building miniature models and taking my time exploring adventure maps on Minecraft and just hanging out with friends! Im a very chill person and have helped multiple community grow and thrive, and wanted to start somewhere new, as I found HollowWorld and decided to give it a chance and have a look! Referral: Planet Minecraft! ________________________________________ {Character Section} Character Name: Skanmar Ironskin Age: 30 Race: Dwarf Appearance: Balding but with a bit of black/brown hair on the back of his head, tanned body with grumpy looking eyebrows. Gloves cover the hands and a tunic and pants are his main clothes that he wears. (Optional) Picture of the Skin: Attach on the thread Written Test (Min: 400 words): Skanmar Ironskin is from Alderton, a small little mining town on the edge of the continent, though if one was to look for it at this day and age, they would find it mainly consisting of middle aged workers and hold many elderly individuals. The only son of Dalgarth Ironskin, an old dwarf scholar who was abandoned by his wife at a young age and raised his only son alone, which at times was a struggle for him due to the fact he was outcast from his own clan and was forced to take a new name for himself. He raised his son to be a proud Dwarven man, to instil upon him the values of coin, honest, respect and keeping his word. The god that his family would worship and pray to is Korog, the God of Crafts and Permanence, due to Dalgarth being a Craftsmen of appropriate skill. Skanmar never was much of a person to believe in the god, but due to the constant and never ending prodding of his father, he slowly got into a schedule of daily prayer, as well as eventually taking up the family trade of being a smith, making his first set of smithing tools that, to this day, he still uses to create items of both domestic value, as well as weapons to defend others and their kin. It was at the tender age of 20 when Skanmar lost his father to an common disease, being too poor at the time to buy the medicine required to keep his father from falling prey to the sickness that swiftly and brutally cut a swift path through the lower levels . On his deathbed, Dalgarth made Skanmar promise to uphold the family name and bring it honour like him and his Ancestor before him. Skanmar would honour his words and his father from this point onwards, praying to Korog on a daily schedule to keep his word and to remind himself of the good time he had, instead of the pain he felt usually when he though of how his father passed. He prayed that his Father would watch over him and all the descendants that would follow him, and that any from that point onwards would live up to the name of Ironskin, being craftsmen that would be proud of any work of metal they make, as well as putting their heart and soul into each piece of equipment they craft.
