I'm stubborn and am still using the HW texture pack. Have half a mind to commission... someone to update it. Because ... yeah.I haven't been working on an updated version of the pack since Conquest was made the official server pack a while ago. Also, as one or two folks have noticed, I've not been very active at all... life gets in the way sometimes
I do miss all the lovely ladies and gentlemen here though so shall make a concerted effort to be around a bit more if possible!

P.S just realised I didn't answer the question above... Is there a 1.8 version of the pack? Not at the moment. Will there be updates? Maybe
Very very quick and dirty test to see how 3d models work...I wonder if anyone else has the knowhow- anyone?
We must talk~Very very quick and dirty test to see how 3d models work...

Put a John Smith pack lower than the HW pack on the priority list. The HW resource pack is still my main resource pack. I keep pestering for an update whenever I can catch Boulder.
I much prefer it to the other packs, even with some default textures starting to poke through the gaps.
I posted the above on 5th March, almost two months ago. Unfortunately, not much has changed and although I would dearly love to devote the time required to update the resource pack I can't even remember when I last logged in to the server... sorry folks.I've not been very active at all... life gets in the way sometimes
It is understandable. Just know your work is well loved!I posted the above on 5th March, almost two months ago.
