Rumours?

I've heard one.

At the moment, there is 10 pieces of hunger. I heard it will be replaced by 5 hunger and 5 thirst.
You will lose both slowly, but in cold places, you will be hungry more quicy, and in hot places, you will be thirsy a bit faster

Also I've heard they add shields and new weapons.

Most of that sounds awesome.

Well, I guess if in a texture pack the bread looks like it's sliced, then you would. but that's a bit ambiguous.

Why is everyone obsessed with Mo' creatures and the weapons mod... :l
Mo' creatures just confuses stuff and basically kills off the sounds of other mobs with bloody ghosts everywhere. Weapons, I can sort of agree on, if they looked better.

But I wouldn't mind a few more docile and hostile mobs added in :3

We need a firearm >_>
Not for HW purposes, but there's just nothing more satisfying than striking down a creeper that's ready to explode with a musket ~

I sometimes wonder if Notch ever designed a better model, but didn't release it for fear of backlash from the community. The current playermodel was actually just a placeholder for the character, but the game took off before it was updated.

It's the simplicity of it that allows for skin creation to be so easy when compared to other games >_>
And, honestly, the easy skin system is a big part of the appeal of minecraft in my opinion. It's kind of like having your own "Hello, my name is____" nametag, but much more personalized :3
