I am using our naval oriented DEF for islands REG for shore and CUL for inland regions.

It's a bit of trouble moving names, but it's very easy to make a map with no names and just the shaded territories, if that will help.

I'll post a map without names on the first post shortly~

I'd suggest somewhere in the green if you'd like to be an island kingdom, or somewhere in the red if you'd like to be... something else, I guess. If you want to be farther north, I'd suggest taking the far, far north, but try to steer clear of the cyan territory if you go to the north.

Quick synopsis of the continents, btw:
> Far west continent is largely hispanic/new-world
> Far east continent is largely asian
> Central northern continent is largely European
> Other continents are... well, I'm not really sure, honestly

Here's another map I posted a while back of my estimations:

Magenta (other than council) represents where I could see new nations going.
Dark Grey represents territories I have no clue whose control they'll end up under.

Though there are a few changes, now, the basics still hold. Pretty much anywhere in magenta is a solid choice for placing your nation, though I strongly advise choosing based on the continent type you want (see previous post).

Recently my countries Religiousness went down about 3 points making it go from 41 to 38. Does this mean that I loss a territory? I seem to remember something about "just RP a rebellion" if this happens but I can't seem to find anything about it. Can anyone clarify what I should do?

While I can't remember what exactly you're meant to do either, I'd simply roleplay it as a rebellion. If your religiousness drops further, say to 35 or 30, then remove the territory in question, but if it climbs back to a stable amount roleplay the rebellion as being quelled. Obviously this is just my idea, there might be a more "official" protocol.
