Oh nah- I adore sketches, the more scribbly, the more appealing they are~

Ironically I recently stalked around for more brushes because I needed MORE xD.

Most of the time I just use the Pencil for sketches/lineart and the airbrush for shading, then paintbrush for blending~

I can see how meticulous you are with the lines in the video and the quality of it really shows. I was wondering who drew that...was totally referencing it while working on his request.

I did art class back in school, but I wasn't any good at it. Little me just didn't understand "Draw something like X" when I originally went into art class because I thought "I can draw, it'll be an easy A."

But mostly, it's always persistence and challenging yourself that'll make you improve in the end, if you avoid things you can't draw, that wont magically make it better. I only hid my characters hands behind her for a few years before I realized that

Thanks! My inspiration is from my husband and he's the real artist in the family and got me started about 2-3 years ago. Those creases are probably from him pointing it out to me tbh. ><;;

Character name: Therry
Details: Fishing rod would be nice, and fits with the theme, maybe looking slightly sad about something and hungry. Background can be whatever, or none at all, but Therry's preferred fishing spots are either on benches or under trees next to a river.

The art in my avatar/first image on profile are a good base, so if you need any reference, that artwork is really accurate.
