Read the Kings Law, Code of Conducts, Official Lore, and the Player Guides?: Yes

Define Metagaming & Powergaming?: Metagaming is the act of using any
information your character hasn't learned in roleplay. (to advantage your character
especially)
Powergaming is treating your character as unfairly strong, lucky, etc.
RPing an action with higher skill or strength than your character should have is
considered powergaming.

Do we allow Xray mods or X-Ray texture packs?: No

Tell us about yourself!: I'm relatively new to fantasy roleplay overall, but
understand enough of the concepts. I come from a background of Star Wars
discord roleplay and Marvel & DC Minecraft roleplay. I have some experience with
writing, but that doesn't translate well to my roleplay style. I prefer using fewer
actions per post in general rather than multiple paragraphs in order to allow other
players to respond, more like a conversation than a series of short stories. I'm
willing to learn new lore over time as I likely won't study all of it at once until I need
a piece from an article, but I intend to learn enough specifics to properly fit in to
fields my character would be involved in.

Character Name: Glomlir

Age: 26

Race: Halfling

Appearance: Height: 3' 6" Weight: 65 lbs. Build: On top of the thin frame of his
species, Glomlir carries a bit more weight than he should. However this doesn't
affect his agility as much as expected, most of the weight being centered around
his belly keeps his arms unhindered for quick reactions and his legs carry a bit of
extra muscle, partly from using them regularly. Eyes: Grey Skin: Light and fair,
with an almost invisible smattering of freckles on his face. Hair: Brown, with thin
chin stubble. Clothing: Usually wears a leather vest and pants, both with plenty of
variously sized pockets. Walks barefoot unless shoes are necessary, which quiets
his steps.

(Optional) Picture of the Skin: Attach on the thread

Written Test (Min: 400 words): Rain, wind, and a lone human battered against the
door of the rented space in the Slums District that Glomlir stood in, crushing a few
leaves of Dog's Mercury in a mortar and pestle. The putrid scent would have been
too strong even to scrape from the smoke-stained walls of the tiny room, had he
not submerged it in water. Wiping his hands, the halfling gruffly shouted,
"I'll be
right there!" as he lay a cloth over the product in hopes of preventing the scent
from spreading.

"Welcome, I was expecting you here sooner. Did something hold you up for long?
I made a cup of tea an hour ago, it's likely cold by now. Come have a seat and a
sip anyway while I finish with your product. I had to keep it warm when I realized
you weren't here yet."
The little man spoke quickly as soon as he identified the bedraggled man
towering above him in comparison to his own stature, almost reaching above his
head to turn the doorknob and hold it open. He gestured to a chair nearly twice as
big as himself- a normal padded armchair, with the distinct feature of one missing
leg.

"Ya got it yet?" the man asked. He was dripping wet and sounded a bit tired- if
the sense of confusion about him was not in fact caused by ale. Glomlir was too
short to tell if any was on his breath, and it hardly would have mattered anyway. A
customer was a customer after all.

"Yes, I'll have them packaged up for you in a few minutes. Have some tea, it's
honeyflower leaf." The halfling alchemist nearly shoved the cup into the man's
knee- er, reached up to hand it to him before returning to his makeshift work
station.

'Darned humans, always sounding so superior. Always looking down on us...' he
thought to himself silently. A set of cabinets sat open in front of him, where he
used the middle and lower shelves to hold his mortar and pestle along with
several vials and bowls. An old stool served as a precarious foothold for him to
work his alembic and a pot on top of the stove near another wall of the room,
where musty old paving stones in the floor dried slightly due to the heat of the
wood burning in the stove. He climbed up and removed the pot from the stove,
gingerly lowering it to the floor and himself beside it.

"I have some more on the way, if you think you want it again. I'll only be here
another week though, so let me know right away." he said over his shoulder, in
the general direction of his customer.

"Oh, if it works like you said, one order will be plenty... He's never going to want
to-"
The man's plotting was interrupted first by the tap of a spoon on the edge of the
pot, and then by the little one's voice.
"Save it, I don't want to know what you're
doing with my product. And you never met me, you hear?"

The human gave a grunt of acknowledgement, taking another drink of his cold
tea.
"You know, cold tea like this isn't so bad. Might even be worth selling if you
can get it a bit colder."
The halfling snorted. "What, like throw ice in it?" he shook his head slightly.
"That defeats the purpose of a nice hot cup of tea."

He poured a bit of greenish goo into a small vial, the unmistakable stench of
Dog's Mercury wafting across the room. He corked the bottle and pulled another
vial off his shelf station, before walking over to the man.

"The dark green one will do the worst, this much is enough to knock most people
out cold after a rather... painful session. The orange liquid will affect vision, if you
use this whole dose it'll cause a week's worth of blindness."

He handed the man the two small vials, one a Dog's Mercury reduction and the
other a tincture of Spotted Elf mushroom.
He left one hand extended, gratefully accepting the handful of coins out of the
man's pocket.

"A pleasure doing business with you." He said as he opened the door for the
man, hardly waiting for him to finish passing the doorposts before closing it.
'Finally, that's out of the way...' he thought as he returned to his work.
