Occupation(s): Former caravan wisewoman. Presently, aspiring herbalist and folk healer.
Social Status:
Wealth: She is living comfortably, thanks to a combination of frugality and having had a human's lifetime to establish some savings. This was aided by her being adopted into a caravan that would not long after, come into quite a bit of coin. Marguerite is by no means set for life--considering how long an elf's life can be--but she has enough for a time.

Current Residence:
Birthplace: A northern keep of a not-particularly-aristocratic moor house.
Homeland: She would consider it the area her caravan frequented, primarily utilizing the river that runs through New Soolera, into the midcontinental marshes, and reappearing to end in Storm's Landing. Though, a few of the surrounding settlements were also frequently visited on their routes, such as Candlewood.

BEHAVIOUR

Alignment: True Neutral
Religious Inclination: She holds respect for The Grey Lady, as she sees death as the ultimate equalizer. Marguerite often struggles to find meaning in a chaotic world, and the reminder that it is finite adds more value to it in her opinion.

Intelligence: Reading can be difficult for Marguerite and she has to take breaks frequently. She has a good ability to absorb and apply knowledge, and learn skills, when afforded the opportunity to through verbal instruction and hands-on practice.

Perception:
Marguerite's visual perception is quite poor on account of her impaired eyesight, struggling to see more than a few meters away (2 blocks). Her left eye is worse than her right (1 block). Further away than that and things are quite blurry, though she can see vague shapes and some movement. See 'Status of Health' below.

Her hearing is more nuanced than the average person's, having a better ability to make out certain sounds, and track moving objects in space when she can hear them.

She is emotionally perceptive, especially to people's tones of voice. Her smell is also quite good.

Memory: She has an average memory, though a poorer recollection of her youth. She has a good capacity for remembering the spoken word, and voices at large.
Temperament: A sanguine and optimistic person overall, she is outgoing amongst those she knows, and handles change better than most folk. Her humour is dry and deadpan, and she is more quippy in close company. She has a temper, though, puts forth a large amount of effort to not let others see this. She can be stubborn and does not like being told what to do.
Sociability: It may be easy for strangers to mistake Marguerite as a reclusive sort. It is difficult to venture out in public or new spaces by herself, making meeting people a challenge at times. Alone, and amongst those she does not know, she tries to avoid drawing attention as she has little means to properly defend herself or even get away quickly should a situation turn sour. She is also extremely aware of how certain folk may try to take advantage of her disability.

In reality she is a sociable woman when comfortable and amongst friends, though she does not trust easily and takes time to open up. She enjoys social activities, functions, good conversation, and is fairly open-minded.

Etiquette: While she tries to present herself as quite lax, she defaults to old habits of her youth when nervous or uncomfortable and can seem to 'proper up' quite a bit then.

Values: Above all, Marguerite values her own freedom, independence, and ability to pursue her own ambitions and whims. She honours those who honour her, returning her support in kind when it is received.
She values people who take genuine interest in, and respect her own wants and autonomy. Otherwise, she tends to enjoys oddities like herself, especially if there is good banter to be had.

Build: A willowy figure with long limbs, angular shoulders, and a curve at the waist.
Somatotype: Ectomorph.
Height: 6’2".

Facial Structure: Narrow, with sharp cheekbones, and a long nose that might be just a little too big. Her face has an indistinguishably moorish sharpness to it, with a handsome jawline.

Skin: A pale white, with cool-grey undertones in certain lights.
Eyes: Violet, with long white lashes. Her eyes involuntarily move slightly from side-to-side, repetitively.


Hair: Silvery-white, slightly lighter in contrast with her skin. Her eyebrows match this shade. It is cared for but often ends up in a somewhat wild mane with flyaways with her lifestyle.

Wardrobe: Marguerite's wardrobe is small and adheres well to her lifestyle. Dark--usually black, as it hides dirt and other messes well--fairly modest dresses and robes, that have enough room to roll up the sleeves. The material depends on the weather of the region she finds herself in. She repairs them herself.

She sports an ecclectic variety of jewelry, some made of cast metals, other pieces made of mangrove wood.

Posture: She carries fairly average posture.
Gait: There is a sense of ease and comfort in her stride, with good form. She walks a lot.

STATUS OF HEALTH

Illnesses: None.
Conditions:
+ Albinism; Marguerite was one of two children of her family to have been born with albinism. She is extremely prone to sunburn if not careful and this has made travel a challenge in the past. Her albinism is also the cause of her near-blindness.

+ Photophobia; she suffers pain and discomfort in her eyes from light exposure.
+ Amblyopia; as a child Marguerite had to wear a patch over her right eye to correct its drooping. It permanently suffers from worsened visual acuity, pattern recognition, and lower sensitivity to contrast and motion.
+ Nystagmus; her eyes make small, involuntary, repetitive movements that greatly reduce her ability to see clearly more than a few meters (2 blocks) away from herself {example}.

+ Situs Inversus Totalis; Marguerite is unaware that her major organs' positions are mirrored to that of a normal person's, including her heart. This is caused by her being a {mirror twin}.

PRACTICAL SKILLS
Needlework: Marguerite's parents prioritized instilling the skillset of a lady-in-waiting into their daughter. As a result she is confident with various forms of needlework.

Medical Care: Marguerite's steady hands were of high value to her adoptive sooleran family while caravaning.

Herbalism: She is familiar with specific folk medicines of soolerans, though this is limited in scope somewhat by what was regionally available. She traded information with other medicinefolk at Fadmas when able, though it took quite some time to integrate well enough into the culture to be able to. Raised in a moor clan until adolescence, Marguerite has an interesting background in languages. She was adopted by a sooleran family in her adolescence.

+ Marjash: The language that Marguerite has spoken by far the most over the course of her life, and what she defaults to for writing.
+ Mok'yra: She is a touch rusty, but Mok'yra is her native tongue that she was born and raised speaking daily, including lessons, until mid-adolescence.
+ Common: She is fluent though could not tell you the intimate grammatical rules or rules with non-standard punctuation.

HOBBIES

Carving: Marguerite can carve basic things, though most of her skills lie more in the fine-detailed ornmanetal and decorative than actual practical application.

Doll-making: While caravaning, Marguerite enjoyed combining her skills of carving and tailoring to make articulated dolls to sell to young girls. These were heavily inspired by her own dolls that she played with in childhood, and shared with her beloved brother. She has developed this skill over the better part of three quarters of a century.
