To the People of Storms Landing
It has come to our recent attention that former Councilor, Valerie Gerharde, had engaged in a prior partnership with Branko Callas, a repeat offender.
They had taken part in the ongoing conflict against The Inquisition of Saint Jacqueline, resulting in their capture and admittance of guilt to these acts.
Henceforth, she will be removed of her seat in the Council of Five immediately.
She will be refrained from joining any position of power in the city until stated otherwise.
To our dismay, this has tarnished the pride and trust we've sought to build up since the start of this term.
For those who've voted for Valerie with confidence in her abilities, our disappointment is shared.
No creative apology can mend what has occurred, but actions will be taken to ensure this doesn't repeat.
With an empty seat in the Council, a decision will be made to either propose an emergency election, or select a runner-up from the most recent election.
