Background - Decimus comes from a rich family in the land of Italia. His family ran almost all of the banking and trade systems there. He had a wife and family, and lived an easy life working with his father. But it changed soon after that. Foreign invaders came and destoried much of the land. The once great cities were reduced to rubble, his family's empire was gone, and everyone he loved was killed. With nothing left to lose, Decimus joined the resistance against the invaders. The next 10 years of his life a mystery, as he has never told anyone about what happened in his fight to free his country. During his time with the resistance, he was forced to do things he is not proud of, and saw things he does not speak of. After 10 violent years, his country was freed, but it was a shadow of its former self. All of his family were killed during this invasion, except him and his cousin. His cousin died sometime afterwards. Feeling he had nothing left for him, he left his shattered life in Italia behind for a fresh start in Altera. He now looks to rebuild his business life, and looks to climb above the rest in this new land.
